Sarah Holmes of Womble Bond Dickinson took part in the BBC's Spotlight & Inside Out programmes looking at how Brexit will impact on trade coming into and out of the UK and what this means for businesses operating in all industries from farming, manufacturing and logistics.
Businesses are increasingly concerned about the state of the negotiations and especially a hard Brexit and the prospect of a no-deal agreement with the EU. As well as leaving the Single Market and the Customs Union, from 23.01hrs on 29 March 2019 UK businesses will lose the rights to trade under more than 750 agreements that the EU has negotiated with over 70 non-EU countries.
